Preferred Financial Holdings Co., its four subsideiaries and the company's former chief financial officer. Michael Bodanza, has faced an SEC lawsuit alleging fraud and other claims.
The firm in Cuyahoga Heights had raised $6.8 million from at least 61 investors and had failed to repay most of them.
