Eclipse Resources gets new executive

STATE COLLEGE, Pa., April 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Eclipse Resources Operating, LLC ("Eclipse Resources") is pleased to welcome Matthew DeNezza as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.


Prior to joining Eclipse Resources, Mr. DeNezza served as a Managing Director in the Global Natural Resources Group for over ten years at Deutsche Bank where he led merger and acquisition advisory assignments, as well as aided clients in understanding capital markets and developing and executing financing transactions. During his tenure with Deutsche Bank, Mr. DeNezza aided in numerous investment banking transactions for both public and private exploration and production companies and refining companies.

He brings valuable strategic perspective and a strong foundation in finance that will be instrumental as Eclipse Resources pursues an accelerated growth plan," commented Benjamin Hulburt , Eclipse Resources' President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to his role with Deutsche Bank, Mr. DeNezza worked in the Corporate Finance Group at Janney Montgomery Scott LLC and before entering the banking industry, Mr. DeNezza held the position of Lieutenant in the United States Navy.

Mr. DeNezza received his Bachelor of Arts with Honors with a major in Government from Harvard University. He received his Masters of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and International Business from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
