A former Washington County judge's handling of a high-profile natural gas drilling lawsuit came under attack last week from the judge now handling the case.
Judge Paul Pozonsky resigned last year.
He was criticized by the new judge for his handling of the case of activist Stephanie Hallowich who sued MarkWest Energy Partners, Range Resources Corp. and the Wlliams Companies Inc. for damages, alleging health problems.
The parties reached a settlement in August 2011. It was sealed.
Two papers are trying to get the settlement opened.
