A total of 32 members of Congress last week sent a strongly worded letter to U.S. Secretary of State Hilary Clinton over the inclusion of the anti-fracking film "Gasland" by director Josh Fox in the 2012 American Film Showcase.
They urged Clinton to drop "Gasland" from the showcase because of what they called its errors and misleading statements about hydraulic fracturing or fracking in drilling for natural gas.
The inclusion of the film is further evidence of the "radical environmental agenda" at the State Department, the signees said.
The agency's role in the Keystone XL pipeline is further evidence of that agenda, they said.
Among the signess was one Ohioan: U.S. Rep. Steve Chabot, R-Cincinnati.
