You'd think that with all of the publicity involving hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, most of the U.S. public would know what the process involves and why it is important.
You would be wrong.
"... only about half (51%) of the public knows that 'fracking is a process that extracts natural gas, not coal, diamonds or silicon from the earth" reports the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press.
