Anti-fracking activists will hold a protest march on Saturday in Portage County.
The event will begin at 10:45 a.m. at the Kent Stage, 175 E. Main St., and proceed west toward the Kent State University campus. The march will then turn west to the Gazebo on Franklin and West Main streets.
Speakers will be Dr. Ted Voneida of the Northeast Ohio Medical University and Jaime Frederick of Coitsville.
A large number of grass-roots groups from across Ohio and other states are expected, said organizer George Sosebee, a member of Concerned Citizens Ohio.
