Mahoning County agrees to water deal with Consol Energy

Mahoning County approved a deal last week to sell Consol Energy up to 500,000 gallons of water per day at a rate of $6 per 1,000 gallons, Tribune Chronicle reports.
Consol will use the water for a gas well that it's drilling off of Blott Road in North Jackson..
If the maximum per month amount of 15 million gallons is used by the company, the county could receive $90,000 per month from the deal, the article said.
