The Cuyahoga Valley Regional Council of Governments is sponsoring a panel discussion on hydraulic fracturing or fracking at its annual meeting on May 25.
The program begins at 9 a.m. and runs to 11:30 a.m. at the Valley Inn, 8001 Brecksville Road, Brecksville.

Panelists are Rick Simmers of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources' Division of Oil and Gas Resources Management, Rhonda Reda and Charlie Dixon of the Ohio Oil and Gas Energy Education Program and Dale Arnold of the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation.
The moderator will be former television anchor and reporter Kathy Kronenberger Martin.
The program is designed to provide factual information to municipal leaders, safety forces and those seeking jobs and training.
