Canada-based Marksmen Energy Inc. announced on Tuesday that it has executed a joint exploration and operating agreement with Columbus-based Knox Energy Inc. for the joint exploitation of Knox’s 6,100-acre Owl Creek Prospect in central Ohio, a press release from Marksmen Energy said.
Under the agreement, Knox will be the project operator and Marksmen has “the right to earn a 70 percent working interest in Owl Creek by completing a 3D seismic survey,” the release said.
