The Charleston Gazette reports that the federal agency investigating the gas pipeline explosion and fire at Sissonville, W. Va., determined that the company involved had to manually turn off the gas flow.
NiSource Gas and Transmission told the National Transportation Safety Board that its workers had to manually shut down the flow to the line that erupted into a wall on fire on Tuesday along Interstate 77 north of Charleston.
