OEC sponsoring Fracking Forums

The Columbus-based Ohio Environmental Council has scheduled nine Fracking Forums in Northeast Ohio.

The public meetings, described as educational forums on drillimg, will be held on June 27 at the Columbiana Public Library and the First Congregational Church in Mount Vernon; on June 30 at the Newark Public Library; on July 7 at St. James Episcopal Church in Zanesville and July 10 at the Coshocton Public Library.

Also on July 12 at the New Philadelphia Public Library's main branch, July 19 at the Youngstown Public Library's main branch, July 21 at the Carroll County District Library and July 25 at the Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County's Schiappa Branch.

Meetings were held last week in Ravenna and Canton.
