OEC sponsors fracking programs in Ohio

Here is the schedule of fracking programs being presented by the Ohio Environmental Council:

1. Oct. 9, Worthington Country Club, Worthington.; For the Association of Women in the Metal Industries. Contact Cindy Porter at 937-206-6492 or

2. Oct. 12, Dicke Forum in Dicke Hall, Ohio Northern University, Ada. For the Ohio Association for Economists and Political Scientists. Contact: David McClough at 419-772-2080 or

3. Oct. 13, Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center, 7033 Glenn Highway, Cambridge. Registration is at 10 a.m., presentations start at 10:30 a.m. Lunch will follow. A community action plan will be develooped at 1 p.m. Free but you must RSVP to 614-487-7506 or
