The Ohio Petroleum Council has a new name.
It is now American Petroleum Institute (API) Ohio, according to Crain's Cleveland Business and the marcellus Drilling News.
The council was founded in 1956, but it has always been part of the powerful API, the national drilling trade group.
API Ohio is headed by Chris Zeigler, who assumed the post last March.
