That's one reason why they remain so nervous about Ohio's Utica shale. There is very little Utica shale production data available from eastern Ohio.
That will be changing soon. Drillers must provide the Ohio Department of Natural Resources with production data by March 31. It will likely be posted online within a few days.
Last year, there were only nine wells in Ohio in production.
