Processing plant to be sited in Ohio's Harrison County
The New Philadelphia Times-Recorder reported on Friday that a natural gas-processing facility will be located northwest of Scio on state Route 151 in Harrison County.
The hub in North Township near the Harrison-Carroll county line is planned by Chesapeake Midstream Development, M3 Midstream and EV Energy Partners.
The exact location of the facility had not been known.
The facility will include natural gas and natural-gas liquid separation and processing and shipping facilities.
The partnership expects to invest $900 million in the facility over the next five years and create about 125 jobs.
Construction of Phase 1 is expected to begin in August and to be complete by mid-2013
