Space available in science teacher drilling workshops
The Ohio Oil and Gas Energy Education Program (OOGEEP) has space available in two free science teacher workshops in June.
One will be June 13-14 at Marietta College in Marietta and the second will be June 21-22 at the Central Ohio Technical College's Coshocton Campus in Coshocton.
The program on energy development from natural gas and oil includes speakers, experiments, activities and a field trip.
The workshop includes overnight accomodations, meals, curriculum, classroom supplies, material kits, evening social gatherings, CEU credit documentation and optional Ashland University graduate credit.
The workshops are limited to 35 participants.
OOGEEP is requesting a $75 refundable registration fee.
The progrm is sponsored by Ohio's natural gas and crude oil producers.
