Blakeslee asks in part: "Can we trust the frackers to do the right thing? A congressional investigation recently discovered that drillers had injected 32 million gallons of diesel fuel, one of the few fracking chemicals that is subject to regulation, into the ground in 19 states between 2005 and 2009 without obtaining permits."
