Columbus will host a two-day conference on the Utica shale drilling for natural gas.
The event will be held April 30 and May 1.
The conference is billed as the first operator-oriented event bringing together executives and key technical experts to share the most innovative techniques for analyzing geological data and to explain how to directly apply it to assess the formation’s commercial viability. The conference will look at successful completions techniques and how to commercialize the play and avoid overspending on water sourcing, treatment and disposal.
Speakers will also advise on technical procedures to help local communities and address media and public accusations.
It is being presented by American Business Conferences.
