Corrections and clarifications - Aug. 30, 2011

■ Lighthouse Academy, an Akron charter school that has been ordered to close by the end of the school year for poor academic performance, is a nonprofit entity. The headline on an article Sunday about Lighthouse was incorrect. An editor erred.

■ An article Friday about the fate of NASA’s space shuttles was written by the Plain Dealer’s Stephen Koff. An incorrect credit line appeared in the paper. An editor erred.

■ A story in Thursday’s Business section gave incorrect names of two Roechling Automotive executives. Robert Eimer is general manager of the company’s South Carolina-based USA subsidiary, and Justin White is project manager for the Roechling Akron plant. A reporter erred.
