Polymers to Polygons! State math teachers conference coming to Akron

1000 math teachers from around the state will meet in Akron on Oct. 14 and 15 for the 60th Annual Conference of of the Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics.

On the agenda are the state's new Common Core math standards, including the requirement of all Ohio high school graduates to pass Algebra II, beginning with this year's ninth-graders. The educators will be meeting at the John S. Knight Conference Center and Akron City Centre.
