Readers of all stripes at Akron Art Musuem

This morning, the children of Akron's Leggett Elementary School visited the Akron Art Museum to hear stories on the city's Annual Day of Reading. Here is Alison Caplan, an associate educator at the museum, reading A Bad Case of Stripes by David Shannon to Leggett kindergarten students:

Celebrity readers included Akron mayor Don Plusquellic, reading Swimmy by Leo Lionni. Akron Children's Hospital president and CEO William Considine and Sandy Auburn reprised their rendition of the poet Donald Hall's children's book, I am the dog, I am the cat,  for the fourth year in a row.
