Rise up for Soul Food dinner

Project RISE is holding its annual Soul Food Dinner on Feb. 28 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church in Akron.

Project RISE is a collaborative effort by Akron Public Schools, local shelters and the community to provide supplemental educational services to children and youth who are experiencing homelessness. The program serves approximately 500-700 students annually.
