Countryside Conservancy, the area nonprofit that has worked to establish farms in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, has made its interim director its new leader.
Tracy Emrick has held the top post on an interim basis since last year.
She was named interim when founding executive director Darwin Kelsey stepped down in September. Kelsey died in December from complications from an illness.
Emrick was director of operations and partnerships for Countryside before being named interim director.
The nonprofit's programs include farmers markets in the area.
