A long weekend winds down, after the jump ...
First, goodbye, Oz and Danny. Needing to finish at least 30 minutes ahead of someone, they managed to finish dead last again -- and were elminated from the race.
It's too bad. I liked them, and would have been happy to see them win. But they have been terrible at navigating, and that proved their undoing yet again tonight.
That said, even if they made the final three, it seems unlikely that they -- or anyone else -- could beat the Barbies. As much as I dislike them, they have been really good at the game, and easily finished first again tonight. So if they win, I can accept that with grudging respect.
Eric and Danielle, naw. Don't like 'em. And while I know a lot of people can't stand Mirna and Charla, of the final three they're the ones I would like to see win. (Oswald and Danny also said they'd want them to win.) I think it's a very long shot -- and don't buy that the Barbie bickering in the promos is a sign of real trouble.
But we'll see.
I haven't blogged in some time; the bride and I took a long weekend, even though both of us ending working part of it. Still, we also did a few fun things. There are a couple of new rhododendron planted now, and a pair of Japanese maples waiting for planting after we're sure the frost season is over. We went to an Indians game last night, and we managed to grab a little more sleep than most weeks call for.
