"Amazing Race" Finale and Other Notes
I've got a lot of things mentally backlogged for posting -- "Friday Night Lights," three new episodes of "Jericho," Suzanne Pleshette's passing. Just haven't had a lot of energy for writing. Will get to it tonight or maybe tomorrow. For now, a few words about "Amazing Race" after the jump ...
As I said before, I was OK with anyone of the remaining three winning, although I thought Ron and Christina were the best story. So I can live with TK and Rachel finishing first, Ron and Christina second, Don and Nic third. (Don is the oldest contestant to get this far.) And I like that the championship came down to a mental test -- remembering items from the course of the race. So it was in the end a good season, and one where people proved that you don't have be mean and scheming to succeed on reality competitions.
