Apparently some people need variety in their happy hours ...

By Rich Heldenfels Published: May 28, 2014

Offered without further comment, this official word about an addition to the iTunes store ((https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/id879840229):

With over 30,000 happy hours in over 100 cities, Happy Hours by Hotspot (www.HotspotHappyHours.com) offers the most comprehensive list of happy hours ever assembled.  Happy Hours by Hotspot is also the first happy hour app that fully integrates with Foursquare and Yelp. There's no registration and no ads.

“We built 'Happy Hours by Hotspot' because upon coming to NYC, we found it unreasonably difficult to find reasonably priced drinks.” said Jasjit Singh, Co-founder and CEO of Hotspot. “We also found the current happy hour apps atrocious - in both style and substance. Building a much better happy hour app was just an obvious way to help people save money and also explore their cities.”

The app shows users which happy hours are happening near them in real time, and which ones coming up. Users can also search for a happy hour on the map, get directions, and share the happy hour with friends.

Happy Hours by Hotspot will be free during launch (May 28th, 29th, and 30th) after which it will retail for $1.99 on the app store.

Happy Hours was created by the same team that built Hotspot.
