But 10 years merits just a 12-minute tribute? It's as if they're televising a DVD extra. From Nickelodeon:
On, Aug. 14., 2000, a little explorer named Dora Marquez made her television debut on Nickelodeon and instantly made history as the first animated Latina character in a leading role. The show debuted at number one and stayed there. Since Dora has been on television, she has crossed social, racial and language boundaries -- a little girl standing tall as a hero and friend to millions of children around the globe!
