Inauguration, 11:30 a.m.

By admin Published: January 20, 2009

Pause in the proceedings. Crowd noise more audible, including what sounds like a chant for Obama. Then shots of more people heading toward the stage, including "poor Dick Cheney," as Chris Wallace describes the veep being in a wheelchair because he was "being a good husband" moving boxes.

11:35: President Bush and Dick Cheney are introduced to the audience. Bush mingles with folks, including the Clintons, as he heads toward his seat. The commentary is beginning to diminish on some networks.

11:38: The crowd begins to react happily; Brian Williams says they're seeing a shot of Obama on the big-screens around the mall.

11:39: Biden introduced.

11:43: "The president-elect of the United States, Barack H. Obama." Wow. We've had months to get ready for this moment and still, wow.
