KISS Tribute Band at Akron Art Museum

By admin Published: January 13, 2011

The official word: Help Who Shot Rock close out with a bang as you join the KISS Army along with Mr. Speed, one of America’s finest KISS tribute bands, on Thursday, January 20 at 6:30 pm for a free concert in the museum’s Beatrice Knapp McDowell Grand Lobby.

The band, who performs in full 1976-77 era KISS makeup and costume, will leave you wanting to rock and roll all night – or at least until the museum closes! Bring your camera and wear your best KISS gear.

Who Shot Rock & Roll: A Photographic History, 1955 to the Present closes Sunday, January 23 – don’t miss this opportunity to see the story of rock and roll told from the perspective of the men and women who helped define it – the photographers.

Cash bar. Gallery admission required to view Who Shot Rock. For more information visit www.AkronArtMuseum.org.
