How's your day? Mine started before dawn with the snow blower. Every time it seems that we are easing out of winter, we get smacked again. Such fun.
In today's Beacon Journal and on Ohio.com, is my piece about "Questioning Darwin," a documentary that is airing on HBO. As I mentioned in a previous post, there are Akron people interviewed in it; I was able to talk to a local pastor who is in the program, as well as with its director.

I was as excited as anyone about the return of "House of Cards" and added my "Oh, wow," to those of others watching the first episode of the new season. I am now through three episodes, and will offer some longer notes when I have seen more. It's been a bit of a roller coaster so far, from the big surprise in the first episode to a somewhat stolid second, to the entertaining political maneuvers of the third.
The Olympics have been sporadically engaging. High point for me so far: the USA-Russia hockey thriller.
