Moving Along: Best Director
Just took a break to write for the Beacon Journal's early deadlline (and dont' think I missed much, judging from what I heard on the TV at my elbow).
Best director winner: "The Artist." Not surprising but disappointing. I was a big "Descendants" fan and this pretty much indicated it won't win best picture.
