MacFarlane's opening seemed to go on forever, and to be built on jokes and bits that would have worked really well in a '60s telecast (except for the boobs song, and even that was staged old-school). Dance, crooning, Shatner, "Flying Nun" bit ...

Oscar to Christoph Waltz. So I get one I wanted tonight... I didn't particularly like "Django," but Waltz was really good in it. And, as I have said before, Tommy Lee Jones was better in "Hope Springs" than Lincoln.
