Carey Mulligan and Zoe Saldana walk VERY carefull down the stairs. Introduce segment on short films, leading to the awards. About which I have pretty much no knowledge.
Animated short winner: "Logorama." Mildly amusing acceptance.
Documentary short winner: "Music by Prudence." Gee, did Roger Ross Williams get knocked aside by his co-winner or what? And they got walk-off music.
Live-action short: "The New Tenants."
