Roger Ebert's Birthday

By Rich Heldenfels Published: June 18, 2013

The film critic, who died in April, would have been 71 today.

Rogerebert.com has posted several items of interest. There's a table of contents here. Among the pieces is  a look at eight movies Ebert championed, including "Hoop Dreams," "Monster" and "Juno." And there is a  contest to finish a science-fiction story Ebert had started.

You can read my appreciation of Ebert, written after he died, here.

As I said on Facebook, I'm finding it hard to believe that he's gone. He kept going through so many trials, why should a little thing like the afterlife get in the way?
