You may remember the griping here and elsewhere when the first season of ''Roseanne'' came out on DVD -- and included the edited-for-syndication versions of the episodes instead of the original network cuts.
The second season arrives on DVD on Dec. 6, and it tries to make amends for that first-season DVD gaffe. In fact, it almost seems apologetic. A sticker on the DVD package declares that it ''includes original 'network' UNCUT EPISODES.'' The press release about the set notes up high that it has ''All 24 Original 'Network' Uncut Episodes.'' The release itself says everyone ''pulled out all the stops to present all 24 episodes ... in its (sic) original uncut network versions.''
Good news. Now let's see them go back and reissue the first-season DVD with the network originals.
