Springsteen Adds Cleveland, Other Shows

Cleveland, one of 25 new dates, is in the Quicken Loans Arena on Nov. 10. Tickets go on sale Aug. 22. Complete announcement after the jump.

Here's the word:

Bruce Springsteen & The Legendary E Street Band have added 25 new US concert dates to their 2009 'Workin' On a Dream' tour. Springsteen has now sold over 1.5 million concert tickets in 2009 alone, with the new dates expected to push that number over the two million mark.

On June 27, Springsteen played to 135,000 fans 20 years songs is posted at, including a performance of "The River" taken from Glastonbury. Also, check out video of "London Calling," opening the set at London's Hard Rock Calling Festival June 28.

A special European edition of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band's 'Greatest Hits' (Columbia Records) has been a smash, rocketing to #3 on the pan-European chart as well as #1 in Sweden, #2 in Ireland, #3 in Denmark, #3 in Norway, #3 in the UK, #4 in Holland, #5 in Finland, and #6 in Spain.

In a recent cover story, Q Magazine called a Springsteen concert "the greatest show on earth." 'Working on a Dream' (Columbia Records) debuted at #1 in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Holland, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and New Zealand and received exemplary reviews in Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, People, and elsewhere.
