Another great result with Justin Timberlake on "Saturday Night Live" last night. Yes, he is overusing some bits -- "Plasticville" comes to mind -- and some are trying to compete with the legendary ("Mother Lovers" was funny, but not on the level of the "Box" song). The opening monologue was Steve Martin as much as JT. And there were flat points when he wasn't onstage, starting with the Geithner open. But it still feels as if the show saves its best work for JT: Cornelius Timberlake, above; the Target lady actually made less annoying; the "Star Trek" guys ("conveniently" followed by a "Star Trek" commercial). I laughed often, and hard.
