The Cedar Lee will give "visibly pregnant" women free admission to upcoming showings of "Rosemary's Baby." Nor is it failing to make note that director Roman Polanski is "in the headlines again." Full release after the jump.
Oscar-winning director Roman Polanski has found himself in the headlines again this week. He now faces extradition to the US after he was arrested in Switzerland on an international warrant stemming from his 1977 crime of “unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor.” Years before his personal reputation was tarnished by this incident, Polanski directed the horror classic ROSEMARY’S BABY starring Mia Farrow as a woman who has what can only be called a “troubled pregnancy.”
The Cedar Lee Cult Film Series will present two showings of ROSEMARY’S BABY on Saturday, October 3rd at 9:30 PM and midnight. Admission will be $5 but visibly pregnant women (no pillow-stuffed blouses please!) will be admitted for free to either showing.
Tickets are on sale at the Cedar Lee Theatre box office and at www.clevelandcinemas.com.
The Cedar Lee Theatre is located at 2163 Lee Rd., Cleveland Hts., OH 44118. The theatre can be reached by phone at 216-321-5411. For more information about the Cedar Lee Cult Film Series visit the Cleveland Cinemas website at www.ClevelandCinemas.com.
