You can find my review of the new Harry Potter movie here.
One thing I neglected to mention is that I did think at times about what this might have been if Warner Bros. had gone ahead with plans to show it in 3D. I don't think the movie needs it but there are some stunts here and there which look as if they were done with a 3D image in mind.
Today's mailbag, with questions about Barry Manilow, Michael Keaton, "Rubicon" and more, is here.
The folks at "Lopez Tonight" sent along some comments from "Dancing With the Stars" judge Carrie Ann Inaba on the show:
Now that Brandy was voted off of "Dancing With The Stars" last night...what does Carrie Ann think?
"This was the most shocking result and it was really sad because you definitely thought that she would make it to the finals and normally going into the finals the audience sort of gets it right and they sort of clean out the people that don't need to be there anymore but this year it's just been different."
Carrie Ann's thoughts on Bristol Palin being in the finals...
"People relate to Bristol...the everyday people...she's doing good and she's holding her own."
But doesn't she also qualify as one of "the people that don't need to be there"? I mean, is there anyone else left to whom CA would be referring?
And, as I have said more than once, the judges bear some responsibility for the outcome, too.
