I expect to say more about this once I take a look at it, but here's the official word: As part of its long term agreement with Disney, ABC and ESPN, Time Warner Cable is adding more than 300 hours of new On Demand programming content from ABC, Disney and ESPN. In addition, the company has launched Primetime HD On Demand.
“We are very excited to provide more of the quality programming that our customers have come to expect, in both standard and high-definition,” said Bill Jasso, Vice President of Communications, Time Warner Cable Northeast Ohio/Western Pennsylvania. “Now it is even more convenient for customers to have their favorite programming at any time, making it simple and easy for them.”
Time Warner Cable customers can enjoy a variety of primetime, sports and kid’s programming from channels including ABC, ABC Family, ESPN and Disney XD.
The new channel Primetime HD On Demand will carry primetime programming from ABC, NBC and CBS in High Definition, all of which will be available to Digital Cable customers. Subscribers will have more than 100 hours of the networks’ popular primetime programs including NBC’s 30 Rock and The Office; ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy and Desperate Housewives; and CBS’ Medium and CSI.
Continues after the jump.
