Baseball & Softball win on Sunday
BASEBALL
The Kent State baseball team defeated Toledo on Sunday afternoon 9-2. After only scoring 5 runs in the first two games of the series, KSU's offense exploded in the victory over the West Division leading Rockets. Sophomore Kyle Hallock improved to 2-1 on the season allowing 0 runs and 4 hits while striking out 4 in 6 innings of work. Sophomore Ben Klafczynski was 3-5 at the plate with 2 RBI for Kent State. The Golden Flashes improved to 24-7 and 9-2 in the MAC.

SOFTBALL
The Kent State softball team completed a 4-0 weekend with a victory over Akron Sunday afternoon by a score of 5-1. Heather Duhon and Jess Carmichael each hit two out homers in Kent State's 4 run third inning. Kent State improved to 17-16 and 8-1 in the MAC.
