Big-time recruit joining football team
Anyone who is familiar with Youngstown Cardinal Mooney's dominant football team last year will know the name of Taylor Hill. Anyone who doesn't know of him, will soon enough.
Recent reports have Hill, who originally committed to Oklahoma then went to Michigan instead, joining the Kent State Golden Flashes next season. The 6'2'' 205 pound linebacker never played a down for the Wolverines and no one is sure how his eligibility will work out for next season.
He is a huge pickup. Mooney had a plethora of players attend major Division I colleges (Brandon Beachum and Mike Zordich joined Penn State, Dan McCarthy went to Notre Dame, John Simon is a Buckeye and Tim Marlowe went to Nebraska) from last year's team and Rivals ranked Hill as the best.
This is a huge get for the Flashes.
