Chafin Named MAC East Pitcher of the Week
BASEBALL
Freshman Andrew Chafin was named the MAC East Division Pitcher of the Week for games played last week. The Golden Flashes went 5-0 during the week. Chafin went 1-0 with a save in six innings of work. In 22.1 innings this year, Chafin leads the team with a 1.21 ERA and is second in strikeouts with 34.
Kent State's game tomorrow at home vs. Canisius has been canceled due to impending weather in northeast Ohio.
Kent State will host former MAC foe Marshall on Wednesday, April 8 at 3P.M.
