Curtis posts second round 71, should make cut

By admin Published: April 10, 2009

At this point, Ben Curtis has all but secured making the Masters cut.

Curtis finished today with a one-under 71, bringing his overall score to even par. He's currently in a 10-way tie for 32nd place, nine strokes behind leaders Chad Campbell and Kenny Perry. Tiger Woods is two strokes ahead at -2.

About two dozen golfers are still on the course, but only a few currently positioned outside the projected cut have a chance to make it, barring a miracle.
