Fisher invited to The Portsmouth Invitational
Kent State senior guard Al Fisher has been chosen to participate in the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament this week in Portsmouth, Virginia. Fisher is one of just 64 players around the nation invited to participate in the four day, twelve game tournament in front of representatives from every NBA team and several international leagues.
This is the second straight year a Kent State player has taken part in the event. Last season Haminn Quaintance played in the tournament. "Q" is now playing professionally in Israeli.
