Fisher update in Portsmouth
Kent State senior guard Al Fisher's Norfolk Naval Shipyard team defeated Portsmouth Sports Club 89-65 at the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament in Virginia on Thursday night. Coming off the bench in 16 minutes of work, Fisher was 4-7 from the floor, 2-3 from distance and finished with 12 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. Xavier's B.J. Raymond led the squad with 19 points. Fisher and crew will play Friday night at 9P.M. Kent State associate head coach Rob Senderoff accompanied Fisher on the trip.
