Former KSU forward Mike Scott getting a chance with NBA Summer League
Former Kent State forward Mike Scott was one of 14 players selected to compete for the Wizards' Las Vegas NBA summer league team.
Scott averaged 13.2 points and 6.3 rebounds per game as a senior for the Golden Flashes in 2007-08, and has since bounced around with professional basketball teams in Turkey, Hungary, Germany and Serbia. He averaged 17.5 points and 6.6 rebounds per game in the Adriatic League.
The Wizards summer league team began a four-day mini-camp on Monday at the Verizon Center Washington, D.C.
NBA TV will televise the summer leagues' entire 60-game schedule. The Wizards first game is this Friday at 4 p.m. against the Hawks.
