Friday's Kent State - Akron game sold out
Friday night's basketball game between Kent State and Akron is sold out, the Akron Athletic Department announced today. The game will be televised on ESPN2 starting at 8:00 p.m.
Friday's game marks the fifth-straight season that the Flashes and Zips have met in the regular-season finale, with the outcome to decide either a divisional or overall league title for one or both teams. The contest also marks the eighth time in the last nine matchups that either UA and/or KSU is in first place or is playing for first place.
