Jermail Porter signs with Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs signed Akron native Jermail Porter to its practice squad Wednesday.
Porter, an offensive lineman, entered the NFL earlier this season as an undrafted rookie free agent with the New England Patriots.
Porter, 6-foot-5 and 310 pounds, was a standout wrestler at Firestone High School and an All-American at Kent State University. He posted a 119-43 at record KSU and finished sixth at the 2009 NCAA Championships after winning the Mid-America Conference heavyweight title as a senior.
