Kent State baseball rallies past Penn State
It was sweet revenge for Kent State baseball, as the Flashes defeated Penn State 4-3 today.
The Nittany Lions (15-11) beat Kent State 9-2 last week at Schoonover Stadium, and led 3-0 heading into the fourth inning today, before the Flashes rallied for three runs. Sophomore Ben Klafczynski hit the winning RBI, as Kent State's bullpen held the Lions scoreless for the final six innings.
"[The bullpen] surrendered only four hits and one walk while striking out eight. Redshirt sophomore Robert Sabo improved to 2-0 while junior Justin Gill picked up his second save of the year," KentStateSports.com reports.
Kent State improves to 18-6 with the win.
